I'm Scared But I've Been Here Before is a short visual poem made in collaboration with Melissa Lozada-Oliva as part of the Visible Poetry Project.
I'm Scared But I've Been Here Before literally interprets a surreal and playful sequence of four dreams, each revealing different fears. Assembled selections from Melissa's public dream journal explore daily anxieties (both conscious and not) endemic to living and struggling as an artist, public figure, and role model for young Latinas.
